Wednesday, August 16, 2006 When will God hear and help us? What do we ask for when we pray? Do you ask God to give you things that will give us pleasure or pray to God according to His will? If you ask and seek the will of God, God will certainly hear you and even answer your needs and desires. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires. – Psalm 37:4 God will answer you when He examines the heart of each and every one of us. Seek the Kingdom of God* above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need – Matthew 6:33. Live according to the Word of God and God will surely bless us. As you commit your life to God, and live according to the Word of God, you also have to trust in Him to help you even when the circumstances may not be favorable to us. “Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.” – Psalm 37:5 We must have faith to believe in the things that we cannot see now, but what we hope for will actually happen. Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. – Hebrews 11:1. God is everlasting and never changing; He will help us even in the storms of our life. Do not be deceived by the devil who will lead us to look to the circumstances and situations that happen to us and fall down. Although we may be upset and tired physically, look to Jesus and you will be renewed and be refreshed spiritually. If we do not give up in the struggles and battles in our lives, we will certainly receive the eternal prize at the end of our race. Never give up in this race and our journey with the Lord. “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are* being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” - 2 Corinthians 4:16-17. So brothers and sisters in Christ, seek first the kingdom of God, live according to the Word of God, trust Him and God will certainly hear from heaven and help us. Daniel at 4:39:00 PM
