Monday, June 27, 2005 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on breadalone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" --Matthew 4:4 New International Version THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY'S VERSE... Like Esau, we get so diverted by the mundane things of life, the growling of our bellies, we forget the longer-range view ofthings. God's word, his written word the Bible, hisdemonstrated Word in Jesus, and his proclaimed word in theGospel, are what can sustain us eternally. MY PRAYER... True and Faithful God, through your Holy Spirit create in mea hunger for your word that is much more demanding of life thanmy hunger for food. I confess that at times I have beendistracted by the mundane things of life and have not soughtyour word and have not nourished my soul. Please forgive me asI pledge myself to be more attentive to your leading and yourtruth through your word. Through Jesus I pray. Amen. Daniel at 9:31:00 PM

Monday, June 20, 2005 Monday, June 20 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to anypeople. --Proverbs 14:34 New International Version THOUGHTS ABOUT TODAY'S VERSE... Wow, what an indictment. When we vote according to ourpocketbook more than character and when we excuse the indiscretions, infidelities, and illegalities in the leaders ofboth political parties, we have reached a very sad stateindeed! But before we rant and rave about the sad state ofmorality in our public officials, let's make sure we're honestin our own daily lives, that we don't say cruel things aboutothers, that we remain faithful to our marriage and our purityvows to God, and let's make sure that we expect of ourselveshigher standards than we do of others. MY PRAYER... God, you are not only the Almighty, you are holy! Holy,Holy, Holy are you, the LORD God Almighty. May the whole earthbe filled with your glory and may that glory be shown in what Ido and say. Forgive me for my own sin and hypocrisy. Bless mewith purity and holiness as I pledge my life to your glory. InJesus name I pray. Amen. Daniel at 10:11:00 PM
My doctor friend is gonna disrupt soon on July 1st. I don't understand why he is such a genius but cant work along with people. Means more problems, more work for me. Army.. Haiz.. I got two friends who just graduated from the university. Yupz, they did what I had wanted to do, although maybe I wouldnt do it. They disrupted to study the same course in university. Now they are serving the last few months in the army. Things I understood on why people sign on in the army: 1. Stable career 2. Poor education background, so no choice. 3.Wanna be the highest ranking in the army (PrIdE) Daniel at 9:44:00 PM
