Monday, May 02, 2005 That movie was very inspirational. I watched it yesterday. Ken Carter the coach of Richmond Oilers was very true. People will rather play basketball first than get their studies right first. It is true that people will get tired after playing and dont go to study. However, missing classes was totally unacceptable. Maybe teenagers at some schools in Singapore do this too. Some people would really enjoy and have fun, play truant. Yup, I played soccer at my neighbourhood two weeks ago. I went with my poly friend there. Obviously there were the regular Malays who go down to play. Most of them are teenagers and are young. I went back at 7plus pm and they were still playing. Many teens in the world out there are just like in the show. It was lucky that the coach could make some sense into the kids when he almost quit because of the board of the school wanting to end the lockup. Luckily the young basketballers chose to study. Watch the movie if u are free. Its an inspirational true life story. Daniel at 8:41:00 PM
